Nuclear Medicine Technologist Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to work at a top healthcare facility in Charleston, South Carolina. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a crucial role in preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals to patients, then using diagnostic imaging equipment to record images of the radioactive material in the body.

This is an excellent opportunity to build upon your nuclear medicine skills while advancing your career as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. You will work closely with patients, healthcare professionals, and advanced imaging technology to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures.
  2. Monitor patient physical condition during procedures.
  3. Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology.
  4. Provide images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
  • Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB).
  • Current CPR/BLS certification.
  • 2 years of experience required within the last 5 years.
