We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead CT Technologist to join our Diagnostic Imaging Team at HCA Florida Bayonet Point Hospital. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring high-quality images are obtained for interpretation.
Key Responsibilities- Operate CT scanners and other imaging equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Prepare patients for exams, including positioning, draping, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exams, obtain informed consent, and complete all required fields within our electronic medical record system.
- Remain proficient in executing software protocols and stay up-to-date with changes in the field through ongoing education and training.
- Check the operation of equipment, maintain cleanliness of the imaging suite, and ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff.
- Current Florida licensure as a CT Technologist (CRT)
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in an acute-care hospital setting
- Ability to perform work that requires frequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, moving, and/or lifting of patients/equipment up to 50 lbs.
