Business Intelligence Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary objective of this role is to support the Strategic Technology and Analytics team in the interpretation and analysis of data outcomes for statistical insights, while also contributing to various strategic initiatives as required.

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

• Reports directly to the Manager of Strategic Technology & Analytics.
• No direct reports.
• Collaborates with various stakeholders both within and outside the organization to fulfill the responsibilities of the role.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Proficient in report generation, database management, and programming languages such as SQL, VBA, and JavaScript.
• Strong foundation in statistical analysis and experience with statistical software for data examination.
• Familiarity with a diverse range of software tools and applications, including Excel and Power BI.
• Exceptional analytical capabilities with a keen eye for detail and accuracy in data handling.
• Skilled in querying, report writing, and effectively presenting analytical findings.
• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develops and oversees multiple projects by sourcing data, managing databases, interpreting data, and applying statistical methods for ongoing reporting.
• Designs and implements data analysis frameworks, data collection systems, and strategies aimed at enhancing statistical efficiency.
• Engages with stakeholders to accurately interpret data and compile comprehensive reports.
• Upholds strict confidentiality regarding all cooperative, member, and employee information.
• Identifies and analyzes trends or patterns within complex datasets.
• Filters and cleans data through meticulous review of reports and data compilations.
• Collaborates with team members to prioritize business and informational needs while assisting in the development of reports, analyses, and projects.
• Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to database structures and internally generated reports and projects.
• Adheres to cooperative safety protocols.
• Must possess the ability and willingness to work in various environments and postures, including the capacity to lift light to medium loads as necessary.
• A valid driver's license is required, along with the ability to operate cooperative vehicles.
• Performs additional duties as assigned or required by the position.
