PURPOSES SPECIFIC TO THE POSITION

To assist the Strategic Technology and Analytics group in interpreting and analyzing data results for statistical outcomes and developing other strategic projects as needed.


RELATIONSHIPS

  • Reports to Manager, Strategic Technology & Analytics
  • Directs - None
  • Cooperates or coordinates with all persons both within and outside the cooperative as deemed necessary to carry out the responsibilities of the position.

POSITION SPECIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Knowledge of and experience with reports, databases, and programming languages (SQL, VBA, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets.
  • Knowledge and skill in a wide range of software and applications (Excel, Power BI, etc.)
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and distribute information with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficient at queries, report writing, and presenting findings.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant area or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  • Develops and maintains various projects while acquiring data sources, maintaining databases, interpreting data, and analyzing results for statistical techniques and ongoing reporting.
  • Developing and implementing data analysis, data collection and interaction systems, and other strategies for statistical efficiency.
  • Works with stakeholders to interpret data to compile reports accurately.
  • Maintains the highest degree of confidentiality regarding all cooperative, member, and employee information.
  • Must report in person to corporate headquarters located in Berryville, AR.
  • Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in complex data sets.
  • Filters and cleans data by reviewing reports and data compilations.
  • Works with staff members to prioritize business and information needs while helping develop reports, analyses, and projects.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves issues related to database architecture and internally developed reports and projects.
  • Works within the cooperative safety protocols.
  • Requires ability and willingness to work in a wide range of environments and postures, along with the ability and willingness to lift light to medium loads occasionally.
  • Requires a valid driver's license and the ability to operate cooperative vehicles.
  • Performs other duties as requested or required by the position.
