Occupational Therapist Role in Acute Care Settings

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Thomas Talent Network. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, providing high-quality care to patients in need.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of patients' self-care functions, setting measurable treatment outcome goals, and developing dynamic treatment programs to achieve or advance toward these goals. A strong background in acute care settings is essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assessment and Goal Setting: Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' medical history, cognitive function, sensory-perceptual-motor function, and activities of daily living to establish realistic treatment outcome goals.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop and implement effective treatment programs tailored to each patient's needs and condition, ensuring consistency and continuity to enhance clinical response.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited occupational therapy program.
  • Licensure to practice Occupational Therapy in the State of Idaho (candidates may apply prior to licensure).
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Previous experience in Acute Care settings.
Benefits:

At Thomas Talent Network, we offer a competitive salary range of $78,000.00 to $117,000 annually, as well as additional benefits including a $15,000 sign-on bonus, relocation assistance housing allowance available, dental, medical, and vision insurance, life insurance, retirement, equity, and PTO. Our schedule includes five 8-hour shifts on Tuesday-Saturday or four 10-hour shifts on Wednesday-Saturday for our Acute Rehab Unit staff.
