Connect Staffing, Inc. is seeking skilled Sanitation Specialists for a prominent cookie manufacturing facility.

Work Schedule: 1st shift – 5-6 days per week. Shifts may vary in length from 8 to 12 hours, typically commencing at 6:00 AM, though start times may shift to 4:00 AM.

Qualifications for a Sanitation Specialist:

  • Minimum of 6 months of recent sanitation experience in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication skills are essential; bilingual abilities are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Capacity to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues in a team-oriented environment.
  • Willingness to work occasional weekends and extended hours as required, particularly during audit preparations.
  • Familiarity with sanitation equipment such as forklifts, floor scrubbers, and foamers is beneficial.
  • Spanish language proficiency is a plus.

Key Responsibilities of the Sanitation Specialist:

  • Collect waste from various locations and dispose of it in designated containers.
  • Consistently wear the necessary personal protective equipment (PPE) for each assigned task.
  • Maintain organization and storage of equipment, ensuring cleanliness throughout the facility.
  • Clean office spaces, break rooms, and locker areas.
  • Mandatory overtime may be required as needed.
