Ophthalmic Photographer

We are seeking a skilled Ophthalmic Photographer to join our team at Froedtert Health. As an Ophthalmic Photographer, you will assist ophthalmologists in the performance of eye examinations using various photographic equipment. Your duties will include anterior and posterior segment clinical ophthalmic imaging, research participation, preparing patients for imaging, and troubleshooting equipment problems.

• Assist ophthalmologists in eye examinations using photographic equipment
• Perform anterior and posterior segment clinical ophthalmic imaging
• Participate in research projects
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures
• Troubleshoot equipment problems

• Knowledge of cameras and photographic techniques
• Knowledge of medical and ophthalmologic terminology
• Minimum 2 years of general medical photography or 1 year of ophthalmic photography experience
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) certification

• Current CRA or OCT-C certification
• Experience with reporting and analytics
• Understanding of DEA regulations and controlled substance ordering requirements
