Access Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians (BHT) to support our Intensive Behavioral Health Services (IBHS) program.
As a Behavioral Health Technician, your role will involve providing individualized support to children and teenagers facing behavioral challenges in various settings, including home, school, and community. Our skilled clinicians collaborate with families to establish suitable behavioral objectives for each client. As part of the treatment team, you will receive guidance on how to assist clients in achieving these goals and enhancing their quality of life.
Work Schedule:
- Part-time hours, scheduled during after-school periods based on family and child availability.
- Work is primarily conducted on weekdays, with potential weekend hours if mutually agreed upon.
Location:
- Support is provided in home, school, and community environments, requiring travel using your personal vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver support as outlined in the client's care plan using approved interventions, including safe crisis management techniques, emotional support, and positive reinforcement.
- Maintain accurate case notes for clients in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Participate in weekly clinical supervision, regular case reviews, and team meetings.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Previous experience in behavioral health (preferred).
- Experience working directly with children (preferred).
- Valid driver's license with a minimum of 2 years of driving experience, reliable vehicle, and car insurance (required).
- No driver's license suspensions in the last 48 months.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $16-$18/hourly, with adjustments based on education, experience, and language proficiency.
