Job Overview:

Are you passionate about managing activities and events at a recreational venue? Join us as a Facility Operations Supervisor at Lakeview Recreation Center, where you can make a difference in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the primary supervisor and lead staff member during recreational events and facility rentals.
  2. Assist with the preparation and dismantling of events, which includes setting up tables, chairs, and ensuring proper waste disposal.
  3. Maintain the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of all assigned areas.
  4. Serve as the main point of contact during all facility activities, engaging with participants and the public in a friendly manner.
  5. Deliver exceptional customer service, including responding to phone inquiries and voicemails as necessary.
  6. Ensure the front desk and display areas are kept clean, organized, and presentable.
  7. Adhere to all safety protocols relevant to the responsibilities of the role, supporting the Peoria Park District's safety initiatives.
  8. Report any incidents of vandalism, unusual occurrences, emergencies, or other relevant situations to the Manager of Athletics and Recreation Services.
  9. Perform additional duties as assigned.
