The HR Service Representative serves as the primary point of contact for internal employees at Panda Express regarding Human Resources inquiries.
This role is essential in identifying issues, ensuring accurate documentation, and effectively communicating with Operations associates to resolve their HR-related questions and concerns.
The Representative also undertakes specialized tasks related to unemployment claims, leaves of absence, and various HR functions, ensuring that all HR processes are executed accurately and promptly for Operations associates.
Additionally, this position includes conducting training sessions at regional Operations meetings to educate employees on HR processes and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide timely and accurate responses to Operations associates on a wide range of HR practices, including benefits, hiring procedures, and employment verification.
- Identify common inquiries and issues at various locations, attending regional Operations meetings to deliver training on HR processes and company benefits tailored to specific needs.
- Manage specialized tasks related to unemployment claims, leaves of absence, state-specific tax documentation, and other necessary activities to support Operations.
- Ensure that all required documentation is prepared for processing new hire transactions and changes for existing employees.
- Gather feedback from Operations and other departments to enhance HR processes through technology.

Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish is required.
- A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- At least two years of experience in a retail or hospitality operations setting is preferred.
- Successful completion of initial and ongoing training is required.
- A valid Food Handler's Card must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
- Completion of annual store training is necessary if hired.
