About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Collision Estimator to join our team at Motocruit, a leading recruitment firm specializing in the automotive and collision industries. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering accurate and high-quality repair estimates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate collision damage and prepare precise repair estimates using computerized estimating software.
  • Communicate effectively with insurance adjusters to ensure timely estimate approval.
  • Order parts and schedule repairs, ensuring completion within budget and on time.
  • Maintain open communication with customers throughout the repair process, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Conduct quality checks to guarantee that all repairs meet the highest standards.
  • Analyze repair orders to document work accurately.
  • Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as a collision estimator.
  • A thorough understanding of collision repair processes and insurance guidelines.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Excellent customer service skills and effective communication with customers and insurance adjusters.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in computerized estimating software.
  • A valid driver's license.
