Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician at TreeHouse Foods, you will be responsible for:

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Respond to breakdowns and failures on the plant floor
  • Troubleshooting and correcting equipment
  • Use machinery including cut-off saws, lathes, surface grinders, drill press for fabricating and/or machining of parts
  • Perform electrical, plumbing, electronics, air and water tasks
  • Grease and lubricate bearings, gearboxes and rollers in all sections of the plant
  • Perform regular check on gearbox seals and help with preventive maintenance on plant equipment
  • Responsible for food safety, food defense and food quality
Working Relationship

Necessary to work as a team supporting and communicating properly with the other members of the production line and maintenance. Position interfaces with all department supervisors, leads and machine operators to determine extent of maintenance assistance.

Qualifications/Education/Experience/Skills
  • HS Diploma or GED; Post High School education preferred
  • 3 - 5 years' experience as a maintenance mechanic in a manufacturing environment
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
