Key Responsibilities of Satellite Technicians:

  • Perform site evaluations to identify optimal locations for satellite equipment and effectively communicate options to clients.
  • Install services by setting up mounts, satellite dishes, and receivers while ensuring proper connectivity.
  • Customer Guidance – Educate clients on their DISH equipment and the fundamentals of utilizing their new technology.
  • Promote DISH Smart Home Services – Successful technicians provide customers with additional service options and products, generating extra revenue with each installation.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

An ideal Installer/Technician will possess the following:

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift over 70 lbs, navigate tight spaces, and work in various weather conditions.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • A valid driver's license with a clean driving record and access to a compliant installation vehicle.
  • Experience in the cable/satellite industry is advantageous.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening prior to scheduling.
