Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Parts Specialist to join our team at O'Reilly Auto Parts. As a key member of our installer service counter team, you will be responsible for overseeing and participating in all aspects of installer counter sales and service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maximize installer sales, focusing on market entitlement
  • Direct activities of all team members assigned to the installer service counter to ensure the highest level of customer service
  • Work with the store manager to ensure proper staffing of ISSs, delivery specialists, and support personnel
  • Ensure delivery specialists are routed in an efficient manner, maximizing customer service while minimizing expenses
  • Handle commercial customer complaints in a friendly, efficient, and satisfactory manner
  • Ensure delivery vehicles are serviced and maintained according to company standards
  • Oversee the installer counter to provide commercial accounts with excellent customer service
  • Audit installer returns for warranty abuse and ensure all returns are tagged/labeled correctly
  • Work with the store manager and credit department to assist with collection of past due accounts
  • Provide input to store manager regarding ISS and delivery specialist performance evaluations
Requirements
  • Leading technical parts specialist with a good background in mechanics
  • Above-average communication skills
  • ASE Certification (desired)
  • Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
