Job Summary

We are seeking highly motivated and skilled individuals to join our team as Firefighter/Paramedics. As a Firefighter/Paramedic, you will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing medical care and transportation, and participating in fire prevention and education activities. You will work closely with other emergency responders, including police and ambulance personnel, to ensure the safety and well-being of our community.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to emergency calls and provide medical care and transportation
  • Participate in fire prevention and education activities
  • Work closely with other emergency responders to ensure the safety and well-being of the community
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections of fire apparatus and equipment
  • Participate in training and professional development activities to maintain and improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Valid EMT-Paramedic License
  • Valid Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
  • Valid Cal-JAC Candidate Physical Abilities Test (CPAT) Card
  • Passing score (70% or higher) on the Firefighter Candidate Testing Center (FCTC) Written Test
  • Ability to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies
