Emergency Medical Technician

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medical Technician to join our team at Norton Healthcare. As a critical care specialist, you will provide advanced life support to patients in emergency situations.

**Responsibilities:**

* Assess the nature and extent of illnesses or injuries to establish and prioritize medical procedures
* Provide critical care to patients in emergency situations
* Work under the direction of the Attending, Medical Director, and/or RN
* Maintain an acceptable driving record and have a valid driver's license

**Requirements:**

* Two years of experience as an EMT
* Valid Driver's License
* Kentucky or Indiana EMT-Paramedic license at time of hire

**Preferred Qualifications:**

* One year of experience as a Paramedic
* Diploma or Associate Degree
