**Job Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Broome-Tioga BOCES. This role involves providing speech therapy services to students with disabilities in a center-based school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative services to students related to individualized education program (IEP) goals
  • Utilize evidence-based strategies and methods to cater to diverse student needs
  • Collaborate closely with faculty and staff to ensure they understand student needs and can provide support
  • Complete paperwork accurately and timely as per New York State and school policies

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • NYS Certification in Speech and Hearing Handicapped or Speech and Language Disabilities; NYS licensure and ASHA certification preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of augmentative communication devices
  • Experience working with developmental disabilities, including autism, is highly desirable
  • A commitment to meeting the needs of every student and a strong belief that all students can succeed

Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $70,000-$90,000, depending on qualifications and experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
