From your first day, you will receive comprehensive training from our award-winning Academy at Bank of America, which includes hands-on experience, personalized coaching, and dedicated support throughout your onboarding process. The Academy provides a structured pathway to becoming an advisor through a multi-phase training program, equipping you with the essential skills and experience needed to thrive in your role and throughout your career.

As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey will begin with obtaining your Securities Industry licenses, receiving tailored classes for your Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 Exams. After securing your licenses, you will learn foundational skills necessary for advising clients, including building and managing client relationships, understanding complex financial situations, and providing tailored advice and solutions to help clients achieve their financial aspirations.

Upon demonstrating success as a licensed Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I, you will typically advance to the next role, Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, where you will further develop your skills by nurturing and expanding relationships within a client portfolio. As a successful Financial Solutions Advisor Stage II, numerous advancement opportunities will be available within Bank of America and Merrill, supported by the Academy's dedicated programs, tools, and resources throughout your career journey.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive world-class training and onboarding programs to build a successful career.
  • Engage in one-on-one coaching from Academy managers invested in your success.
  • Utilize a consultative approach to identify client needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Achieve your Security Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7, and Series 66 licenses through structured lessons and dedicated study time.
  • Build a professional network by interacting with diverse clients, including banking customers and small business owners.
  • Deliver comprehensive advice and conduct client reviews with confidence, recommending strategies to help clients meet their financial goals.
  • Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients with a wide range of financial solutions.
