Lead Care Manager Opportunity

At AdvisaCare Home Health Care, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Manager to lead our East Lansing office. As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to seniors and their families.

About the Role

The primary responsibility of this position is to plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall functions of the nursing services department. You will ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times, while also leading and mentoring a team of dedicated professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Nursing Services Department Management: Direct the daily operations of the nursing services department, including hiring, training, scheduling, and coaching staff.
  • Quality Care Delivery: Ensure that high-quality care is delivered to residents, while also supporting family members and health care providers.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Develop strong relationships with health care providers, residents, and family members, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in nursing, preferably in a facility environment and/or skilled home care.
  • Experience in supervision and principles and practice of teaching.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Creativity, integrity, and initiative.
  • The ability to provide critical thinking to address clinical issues.
