Certification and Experience Requirements

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at UMHS - University of Missouri Hospital. The ideal candidate will possess current BLS, ARRT, and CT certifications, as well as a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Level 1 trauma setting.

Job Responsibilities
  • Operate advanced imaging protocols, including CT Cardiac, Stroke perfusion, and Trauma.
  • Assist with procedure protocols and performance for a range of patient acuity levels.
  • Evaluate images for technical quality and label with priority levels.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Provide orientation for new technologists.
  • Understand and use the image archival system (PACS).
  • Provide education and training for student technologists.
  • Assist with education and training of new physicians.
  • Develop new protocols and techniques with radiologists and physicists.
Schedule and Requirements

The selected candidate will be required to work 50% of holidays and be on-call as needed. A strong understanding of the image archival system and ability to work in a teaching facility are essential for this role.
