Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientist - Biologics Development to join our team at Medix™. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for developing and qualifying analytical methods for biologics, as well as conducting laboratory experiments to characterize biologics using immunoassays and cell-based assays.

Responsibilities
  • Method Development and Qualification: Develop and qualify analytical methods for biologics, ensuring compliance with cGMP requirements and standard operating procedures.
  • Laboratory Experiments: Conduct laboratory experiments to characterize biologics using immunoassays and cell-based assays, analyzing data and interpreting results.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Author and review method development reports, method qualification study protocols, and qualification study reports, as well as perform sample testing and report findings.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper qualification, calibration, and maintenance of laboratory equipment according to established schedules.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively in a team environment, with excellent verbal and written communication skills, and ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
Requirements
  • Education: PhD, MS, or BS degree in Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Biotechnology, or Biology.
  • Experience: BS degree with 5+ years, MS with 3+ years, or PhD with 1+ year of industry laboratory experience, with hands-on experience with immunoassays and cell-based assays.
  • Skills: Strong multi-tasking abilities, effective time management skills, and excellent organizational capabilities, with ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
