Job Summary:

Nash County is seeking a highly skilled Communicable Disease Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Public Health department, you will play a vital role in coordinating and implementing Tuberculosis (TB) Program services and communicable disease services.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing and experience in public health. You will be responsible for assessing and evaluating the quality and needs of the program, implementing a course of action, and ensuring program activities are in accordance with agency and state policies.

This position requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, as you will work closely with local physicians, healthcare facilities, epidemiologists, and other stakeholders to provide adequate follow-up, referrals, and treatment based on Communicable Disease laws and guidelines.

The estimated salary for this position is $66,822 per annum, based on the location and industry standards.
