Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Busser to join our team at Broken Yolk Cafe. As a Busser, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and welcoming dining ambiance for our guests. Your exceptional service skills and attention to detail will ensure that every guest feels valued and cared for.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clearing Tables: Promptly clear tables of unused tableware, ensuring a clean and inviting atmosphere for our guests.
  • Tableware Management: Transport tableware to the dish area, ensuring proper sorting for washing, and aid the dishwasher by disposing of leftover food and maintaining dishwashing station cleanliness.
  • Table Maintenance: Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables throughout guests' dining experiences, swiftly attending to cleaning needs between seatings, including tabletops, chairs, booths, and floor areas.
  • Restroom Maintenance: Regularly inspect and upkeep assigned restrooms, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness every 30 minutes or as needed.
  • Guest Service: Address guest requests promptly and relay them to servers when necessary.
  • Server Support: Provide assistance to servers, particularly during busy periods and with large parties, in food delivery.
  • Team Collaboration: Maintain ongoing communication and offer support to Front of House (FOH), Bar, and Back of House (BOH) teams by assisting with stocking, cleaning, and other tasks as requested.
  • Food and Beverage Support: Assist with server beverages and running food to tables as needed.
Requirements
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant setting.
  • Communication and Teamwork Skills: Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time.
  • Flexibility: Flexibility to work in varying conditions.
  • Availability: Weekend and holiday availability is required.
  • Work Authorization: Authorized to work in the US.
