About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Infant Educator to join our team at Guidepost Montessori. As a Lead Infant Educator, you will be responsible for creating and leading a model classroom that fosters independence and develops competent, capable, action-oriented thinkers and change agents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with Montessori principles and Guidepost Montessori's educational philosophy
  • Lead a team of educators in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive development
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design and implement professional development opportunities that enhance teaching skills and knowledge
  • Provide guidance and support to parents and caregivers on their child's educational journey
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education and Montessori methodology

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • Interest in free training to become Montessori certified for the 0-3 age group
  • INS or EQIT certifications and/or BA degree in Early Childhood
  • Experience working with the appropriate ages in a group setting, such as a preschool, daycare, childcare, nursery, or Reggio Emilia center
  • Ability to give children the tools to become independent
  • Open to guiding colleagues and being guided by them in turn
  • Eager to partner with parents on their child's journey
  • Takes pride in work and is friendly with error
  • Gets energized and inspired by working with children
