Job Description
At Country Inn & Suites Houghton, we are seeking a skilled Housekeeping Associate to join our team. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our guest rooms and public areas. This includes replenishing supplies, changing linens, and disinfecting surfaces. If you are a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply for this role.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and disinfect showers, toilets, and sinks
  • Replenish toiletries, soap, lotion, and paper products
  • Clean guest laundry washer/dryer, table, and mop floor as needed
  • Deliver items to guest rooms as needed, such as towels, extra pillows, and supplies
  • Respond to guest requests in a timely and courteous manner
  • Report and deliver lost & found items to the appropriate office/department
  • Work in a team environment and assist and support all members of the team to ensure a great hotel stay experience for our guests

Qualifications:
  • Highly organized and able to work independently
  • Must be able to work the majority of the shift in a standing position, constantly moving, and able to lift 20 pounds
  • Strong Guest Service Skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and co-workers
