We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Obstetrics Student Nurse Tech to join our team at BJC HealthCare. As a key member of our nursing team, you will provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered professional nurse. This role requires completion of a foundational nursing skills course or equivalent.

Responsibilities
  • Assist nurse with patient and family education
  • Document all patient care activities provided with correct medical terminology
  • Act as 1:1 patient safety sitter as necessary
  • Ensure availability of supplies and equipment to meet each patient's needs
  • Implement direct patient care under the supervision of the nursing team
  • Collect clinical data and information on patients and report abnormal findings to the nurse
  • Instruct patients in preparations for tests and procedures
Requirements
  • Enrolled in an accredited RN program
  • No experience required
Preferred Requirements
  • Enrolled in an accredited BSN program
