Job Summary:
The County of Okaloosa Florida is seeking a skilled Custodian to perform custodial tasks for assigned county facilities. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our facilities are safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient for our staff and the public.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform custodial tasks, including cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining facilities
- Operate electrical cleaning equipment and other machinery as needed
- Provide excellent customer service to county staff and the public
- Collaborate with facilities team to ensure seamless operations
- Identify and report any maintenance or repair needs to facilities management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous custodial experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
