Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Cybersecurity and Incident Response to join our team at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee. As a key member of our security team, you will be responsible for leading our incident response efforts and providing strategic guidance on cybersecurity initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Incident Response: Manage and coordinate incident response efforts, including threat hunting, vulnerability management, and forensic analysis.
  • Cybersecurity Strategy: Develop and implement cybersecurity strategies to protect our organization's assets and data.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of cybersecurity professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the success of our security initiatives.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with our clients, providing exceptional service and support to meet their cybersecurity needs.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and resources to ensure timely completion and successful outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in incident response and/or information security, with 5+ years of management and consulting experience.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threat management, and incident response. Proficiency in scripting languages, such as Python, and experience with enterprise security controls.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Certifications: CISSP or CISA certification.
  • Skills: Experience with threat analysis, vulnerability management, and forensic analysis. Strong business acumen and consulting skills.
