Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Professional to join our team as an Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) in Dulles, VA. The successful candidate will play a critical role in executing our cybersecurity program, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems and data.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and update Risk Management Framework (RMF) documents, including Security Plans, Addendums, Plans of Action and Milestones (POAMs), System Configuration Tables (SCTMs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Concept of Operations (ConOps).
- Perform technical security control assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential deficiencies as part of the continuous monitoring program.
- Conduct system audits, system baseline validations, and Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) activities.
- Interface with internal and external customers, program managers, IT staff, senior leadership, and other stakeholders.
- Support various actions related to cyber incident response, investigation, and resolution.
- Develop and enforce cybersecurity policies and procedures for accredited systems.
- Experience with computer forensic tools and investigation methodologies.
- Experience with various information system security assessment/hardening tools, including SCAP Compliance Checker, STIG Viewer, Nessus, and others.
- Practitioner knowledge of wide and local area networks, including servers, workstations, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- DoDD 8570/8140 IAM Level 2 professional certification (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CISSM, etc.).
- Current top-secret clearance with SCI access and willingness to undergo a polygraph examination.
- Prior ISSM/ISSO or alternate ISSM/ISSO experience.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
- In-depth knowledge of NIST special publications, CNSS policies, and instructions.
Nightwing offers a competitive salary range of $77,000 - $163,000, depending on experience.
