We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Rural Carrier Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for loading packages in delivery sequence into your vehicle, delivering packages to customers along a prescribed route, and sorting mail in delivery sequence for the assigned route. Additionally, you will receive and sign for accountable mail, load mail and packages into your vehicle, deliver mail and packages to customers, collect monies and receipts, pick up mail from roadside boxes, furnish routine information, return mail collected, submit monies and receipts, prepare time records, and provide for mail security.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and is able to navigate through various weather conditions. If you have a valid driver's license and are comfortable driving a vehicle for extended periods of time, we encourage you to apply.
