Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to join our team at Chase Technical. Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate slitter paper machines to produce high-quality paper products within specified parameters.
  • Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure product quality and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine malfunctions to minimize downtime and maintain production flow.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
  • Maintain accurate records of production output and quality control data.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience in operating machines.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Knowledge of Micrometers, Gauges, Calipers.
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and ability to follow them at all times.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work on the 1st or 2nd shift as required.
  • Good communication skills and ability to maintain accurate records.
