About the Role
We are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Care at Home Team, working in various service areas throughout South Lanarkshire.
As a Home Carer, you will work with service users to enable them to remain living independently in their own homes, assessing and mitigating risks to achieve their goals.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team, working alongside Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Community Nurses, and Social Care professionals.
The Care at Home Service offers employees the opportunity to develop skills in a supported and professional environment, making a real difference to the lives of others.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with service users to enable them to remain living independently in their own homes
- Assess and mitigate risks to achieve service users' goals
- Work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, including Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Community Nurses, and Social Care professionals
Requirements
SVQ Level 2 in Social Care or equivalent is required, along with a commitment to quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
South Lanarkshire Council will provide and fund all required training, including onboarding and ongoing learning and development.
