About the RoleWe are seeking an accomplished Medical Care Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care, developing and implementing healthcare programs, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to drive positive outcomes.
Duties and Responsibilities:- Develop and implement healthcare programs based on health risk assessment results, targeting high-need departments with interventions.
- Deliver protocol-driven care as ordered by our providers, interacting with patients for scheduling and follow-up.
- Implement initiatives to improve patient outcomes, including preventative screening and health education.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure employees receive appropriate care and programs.
- Assist with annual physicals and placement examinations, complete screenings, testing, and results reporting.
- Help schedule and complete follow-up exams, return to work exams, and consultation.
- Coordinate client referrals to other providers. Either arrange or perform follow-up evaluations of employees with detailed documentation of progress.
Requirements:
- Emergency Medical Technician, Paramedic, or Licensed Practical Nurse degree.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification recommended.
