About the Role

Children's Mercy Kansas City is seeking a highly skilled Neurophysiology Technologist I to join our team. As a key member of our neurophysiology lab, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality clinical neurodiagnostic testing for interpretation by a pediatric neurophysiologist.

Responsibilities
  • Perform electroencephalogram testing within the Guidelines of the American Clinical Neurophysiology Society on patients ranging in age from newborn to 21 years of age.
  • Provide care with consideration of patient's age, diagnosis, psycho-social characteristics, and family stressors that affect ability to understand or retain instructions.
  • Maintain service excellence in all aspects of neurophysiology lab operations.
  • Maintain efficient operations of the neurophysiology laboratory.
  • Demonstrate commitment to teamwork, quality improvement, and learning.
Qualifications
  • HS diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years experience.
  • Experience in a clinical role is preferred.
  • Student experience gained through the Neurodiagnostic program is accepted.
  • Currently enrolled in or a graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic program preferred.
  • Registry Eligible EEG Preferred.
