Job Title: Automation Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

Venteon is seeking a highly skilled Automation Systems Engineer to join our team. As an Automation Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing automation systems for our manufacturing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automation systems, including electrical, pneumatic, and PLC systems.
  • Develop Bills of Material for electrical designs and update them as needed.
  • Coordinate with project management to ensure that all drawings, bill of materials, manuals, sequence of operation, and PLC programs are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Attend project kick-off meetings, lessons learned meetings, and project status meetings.
  • Develop and review electrical and fluid drawings, schematics, and manuals.
  • Design PLC software programs and develop HMI screens to customer specifications.
  • Provide product improvement suggestions and customer feedback to project management.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in controls systems engineering.
  • B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong familiarity with Allen Bradley, Siemens PLCs, and HMIs.
  • Knowledge of EPLAN and other relevant technologies.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time, locally and in North America.
