Sentara Healthcare is a leading healthcare provider in Virginia, committed to improving the health of our communities. We are seeking a highly skilled Medical/Surgical Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

About the Role

This is a full-time NIGHT SHIFT position with a salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. As a Registered Nurse on our Medical/Surgical Unit, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your skills in providing high-quality care.

Responsibilities
  • Assess and admit patients, conducting thorough medical histories and physical assessments
  • Round checks, medication administration, and patient education
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
Qualifications

We require an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher, as well as current RN licensure in good standing. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) is also required. Preferably, candidates will have at least 1-2 years of experience in a Medical/Surgical setting.
