Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Supervisor

About the Position: We are looking for an experienced Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Educator to join our dynamic team. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a vital role in educating and mentoring students in the assessment and treatment of patients.
Responsibilities:
- Clinical Supervision: You will supervise students in clinical settings, providing guidance, feedback, and support throughout their experience. This includes preparing the clinical environment, organizing equipment, and modeling professional communication and collaboration skills.
- Assessment and Treatment Planning: You will work with students to develop assessment and treatment plans, including identifying patient needs and goals.
- Communication and Collaboration: You will collaborate with students, faculty, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
Requirements:
- Education and Experience: A Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology is required. You must have at least 2 years of hands-on experience in patient care settings and completion of the ASHA requirement for supervision of graduate interns.
- Licensure and Certification: You must be a state-licensed speech-language pathologist with ASHA certification (minimum 9 months).
Educational Requirements:
- M.S.-SLP Program: This part-time, hourly appointment requires a working knowledge of educational theory and motor skill development. You will need to demonstrate excellent oral communication and organizational skills, as well as a nurturing and respectful approach to teaching.
Salary Range:$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
