The Retail Operations Manager is responsible for assisting the Store Manager in controlling the assets of Hibbett I City Gear. This includes establishing action plans to accomplish departmental and overall store responsibilities such as selling, restocking, merchandising, ordering, and scheduling.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a retail environment, preferably in footwear and athletic apparel. They will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Retail Operations Manager will be responsible for supervising employees in the absence of the Store Manager, carrying out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, and resolving problems.
The Retail Operations Manager will be a self-starter, with initiative to take on important tasks without being asked. They will have strong attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and with precision.
They will be a team-player, passionate about outstanding customer service and selling merchandise.
