About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our Customer Experience and Business Trends (CXBT) team at Amazon. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in converting data from various sources into actionable business insights. Your primary responsibility will be to analyze information, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

* Analyze information, draw conclusions, and make recommendations to drive business growth and improvement
* Communicate data-driven findings in engaging ways, both in written narrative form and visually via dashboards
* Proactively drive team-wide data insights reviews
* Influence teams and roadmaps to drive changes according to the analyses you completed
* Own reporting and analytics roadmaps to build scalability and automation
* Create scalable mechanisms to manage and share insights, findings, and recommendations
* Independently seek additional technical guidance and Principal reviews where necessary

We are a team of builders that develop products, services, ideas, and various ways of leveraging data to influence product and service offerings for almost every business at Amazon. Our approach is based on determining the customer need, along with problem solving, and we work backwards from there. We use technical and non-technical approaches and stay aware of industry and business trends.

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent
* 2+ years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
* Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
* Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
* Background in analytics, process improvement, and/or consulting

Preferred Qualifications

* Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, MSCS)
* Entrepreneurial/start-up experience
* Exposure to one of the following areas: eCommerce, Retail, Cloud Computing
* Experience with Domo BI tools
* Experience with SQL, Python, or similar coding languages
