Business Analyst III

Nakupuna Consulting is seeking a Business Analyst III to provide performance analysis, data collection and analysis, and Backlog management in support of a large size, multi-year contract to the Integrated Personnel and Pay System – Army (IPPS-A) Army Military Payroll (AMP).

The Business Analyst will be responsible for data collection, written analysis, and team management and support. The Analyst will support in writing Epics and Features as part of the Portfolio Operations Team.

The Business Analyst will employ excellent writing skills across essential reports and will provide verbal input in meetings as necessary.

While the Business Analyst III will be proficient in solving multi-faceted problems without extensive assistance from other staff-members, collaboration with the various Agile Teams will be a common aspect of the position.

The Business Analyst will provide effective leadership and coaching to junior analysts and staff-members on the AMP project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Epic and Feature writing and management of Agile Release Train (ART) Backlog.
  • Collecting data from agile teams, creating, maintaining, and delivering project metrics and data inputs to Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs) deliverables.
  • Responsible for supporting agile data collection, administering agile project tools, and compiling reports and dashboards.
  • Provides project coordination and analysis for managers.
  • Provides support for ad hoc data requests from Govt.
  • Performs work under minimal supervision.
  • Handles complex issues and problems and refers only the most complex issues to higher-level staff.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 3-5 years of experience preferred.
  • Microsoft Office suite experience. PeopleSoft, Workday, or other ERP experience a plus.
  • Certifications in Agile or SAFe preferred.
  • This position requires a current Secret clearance. Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Work Location:

Work location will be in Arlington, Virginia 2 days on-site with a hybrid option. Occasional travel may be required.
