CommonSpirit Health is seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our team in Lincoln, Nebraska.
About the Role:We are looking for a highly motivated and compassionate Physician Assistant to provide high-quality patient care in our Hospice and Palliative Medicine department.
Responsibilities:- Provide medical care to patients with serious illnesses, focusing on pain and symptom management.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and perform procedures as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent.
- Current certification as a Physician Assistant.
- Experience in Hospice and Palliative Medicine or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
