Job Summary

The Lending Center Consultant is a key role in the Technology Credit Union team, responsible for the maintenance and follow-up of loan and membership applications received from non-branch sources. This includes the website, Lending Center, Member Contact Center, Private Banking, Mortgage Lending, and 24-hour access service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of loan products, features, documentation, and funding processes.
  • Process membership applications received through the website and Lending Center/Member Contact Center channel, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to member inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Identify and pursue cross-selling opportunities, promoting relevant products and services to members.
  • Meet individual product referral goals and achieve a regular call/email average of 90% or better.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve department goals, maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-3 years' increasing experience in related disciplines, including consumer loans and financial products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong sales and service skills, with a focus on meeting individual and corporate goals.
  • Awareness of consumer loan products, applications, and regulations, with the ability to maintain accurate records and notes.
Benefits

As a member of the Technology Credit Union team, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $51,000 to $71,000, with bonus potential of 5%. Additionally, you will receive health care benefits, life and disability insurance, 12 paid holidays, and 401k with a company match. You will also accrue 5.54 Paid Time Off (PTO) hours per bi-weekly paycheck, with the opportunity to dedicate time to charitable organizations through Voluntary Time Off (VTO).
