Estimated Salary: $62,500 per year.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze paint samples from historic structures to identify and document complete stratigraphies of paint layers.
- Develop and implement effective preservation plans to ensure historical accuracy.
- Collaborate with park personnel to coordinate projects and ensure successful outcomes.
- Conduct research and stay up-to-date on industry best practices and new technologies.
- Master's degree in History and/or Historic Preservation.
- Five years of professional experience in Historic Paint Analysis and Assessments on NRHP structures.
- Expertise in paint sampling and identification of complete stratigraphies.
- Strong knowledge of paint sampling techniques and laboratory analysis for NRHP sites.
- Effective communication and project management skills.
