About the Job: We are seeking a skilled Historic Preservation Specialist to join our team at Ladgov Corporation. This part-time position involves conducting paint sampling and analysis, performing laboratory analysis, and preparing detailed reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct paint sampling and analysis to identify complete stratigraphies of paint layers.
- Perform laboratory analysis and interpretation of paint samples.
- Prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations.
- Create paint chronology charts and provide restoration color and technique recommendations.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in History or Historic Preservation.
- Five years of professional experience in Historic Paint Analysis and Assessments.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
