Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Information Technology. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex software products, as well as making significant enhancements to existing software.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop complex software products and make significant enhancements to existing software
  • Work in an Agile environment with minimal supervision
  • Embodiment of a passion for continuous improvement and innovation
  • Strong experience in building modular, reusable components and features
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to initiate, investigate and solve technical issues with minimal technical oversight
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of programming experience
  • At least two years of experience with Angular 10 or better
  • Strong experience in JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Strong .Net Core and Entity Framework
  • Hands-on experience with relational databases such as SQL Server
  • Experience with Microsoft's Azure Dev/Ops capability as the development code management repository
  • Experience with enterprise and/or complex developments, using Agile Software Development Approaches
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with modern front-end frameworks, Angular a must, other frameworks like React a plus
  • 8570 level certification (Security + or better)
Education:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software/Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience
Security Requirements:
  • Must have TS/SCI

We offer a competitive salary range of $122,366 - $161,000, depending on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.
