Job Overview

Unitek Learning is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Practical Nursing Instructor to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in shaping the next generation of nursing professionals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure accurate student attendance and grade records are maintained and submitted in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement instructional initiatives that enhance the quality of our nursing programs.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive orientation programs for new faculty members, focusing on both theoretical and clinical aspects of our courses.
  • Apply adult learning principles to create engaging and effective teaching experiences.
  • Maintain a commitment to continuous quality improvement, seeking opportunities to enhance instructional methods and materials.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and safety regulations, incorporating these into your teaching practices as needed.
  • Participate in committee activities that support the mission and function of our nursing program.
  • Attend regular faculty meetings to stay informed and contribute to program development.
  • Supervise student clinical experiences in assigned healthcare facilities, ensuring a safe and supportive learning environment.
  • Evaluate student performance in relation to clinical learning outcomes, providing constructive feedback to support their growth and development.
Qualifications

A BSN degree and at least 3 years of bedside experience as a registered nurse are required for this role.
