About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantitative Analyst to join our team at Beacon Street USA. As a key member of our Data Science team, you will be responsible for creating, exploring, and enhancing financial models and algorithms within our universe.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Key Executives: Work closely with senior executives from multiple teams to understand problems, identify opportunities, and present findings.
  • Predictive Analytics: Identify predictive features for problems/opportunities and run them through ML algorithms within a predictive analytics framework, Data Robot.
  • Data Extraction: Extract the required data from the Data Warehouse (Snowflake) or other systems as needed, either through direct SQL extracts or other frameworks provided such as Looker, Tableau, etc.
  • Backtesting and Reporting: Create backtests and reports on various financial models, and algorithms.
  • Algorithm Development: Explore and enhance TradeSmith's deep financial data by crafting custom algorithms or indicators based on market data and trends.
  • Additional Tasks: Perform other tasks as needed within the broader Data and BI teams, including visualization tasks, BI metadata model development, data loading, data cleansing, etc.
Requirements
  • Education: BS or MS degree in Data Science or a related quantitative field.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years of work experience within Data Science.
  • Technical Skills: Highly proficient in SQL, Python coding experience, comfortable working within a Predictive Analytics Framework, and excellent communication skills.
  • Finance Technology Background: Finance Technology background preferred.
  • Work Environment: Comfortable with shifting priorities and a fast-paced work environment, sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing, visual acuity for reading and using the computer, ability to hear, ability to freely move about the office or remote working environment, ability to use the phone/computer/keyboard/mouse/general office equipment for extended periods of time, and ability to communicate with others in order to exchange information.
