Penn State Health is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join their Float LPN team in Hershey, Pennsylvania.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. As a Float LPN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in various clinical settings, including general primary care and specialty offices.

Responsibilities:
  • Room patients, conduct Point-of-Care Testing, and perform phlebotomy and injections
  • Administer medications and complete asynchronous administrative work
  • Work with varied populations, from pediatrics to geriatrics
Qualifications:
  • Current licensure as a licensed practical nurse in the state of employment or a multistate LPN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

  • The Penn State Health Medical Group – Contingency Pool is seeking a determined and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join the travel pool team
  • Spanning over a variety of counties in the South-Central PA area, including Dauphin, Cumberland, Lancaster, York, and Berks counties

The Licensed Practical Nurse of the Contingency Pool will be expected to perform the following duties in their assigned office:

  • Room patients
  • Conduct Point-of-Care Testing
  • Perform phlebotomy and injections
  • Administer medications
  • Complete asynchronous administrative work

The ideal LPN for this position will be able to work within a team environment and independently, meeting the expectations of the Contingency Pool and the assigned office. Punctuality and fulfilling bi-weekly assigned schedules are also essential.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required prior to completion of orientation
