Position Overview

We are in search of a dedicated and service-oriented individual to fill the role of Tax Consultant.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our team to provide exceptional service to our clientele. Regular engagement with clients will allow you to gain insights into their needs, while also facilitating your professional growth through mentorship from seasoned Certified Public Accountants within the firm. Participation in both internal and external Continuing Professional Education (CPE) programs will further enhance your expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare comprehensive work papers for tax return engagements.
  • Assist in the formulation of federal, state, and local tax returns in compliance with IRS regulations and state tax laws.
  • Engage in tax planning and research initiatives for clients.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with key client personnel.
  • Contribute to consulting projects.
  • Attend continuing education sessions, including in-house and external CPE workshops, webinars, and conferences, to refine skills and stay updated on evolving accounting laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with a focus in Accounting or a related field.
  • Relevant experience gained through internships or previous employment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to exhibit professional interpersonal engagement, demonstrating a cooperative attitude and a commitment to superior customer service.
