POSITION SUMMARY

As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of pastries and desserts in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards. Your role will involve measuring, mixing, and baking ingredients while adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and bake pastries, cakes, and other desserts following specific recipes.
  • Ensure all ingredients are prepped and ready for use, including portioning and storing.
  • Utilize baking tools and equipment safely and effectively.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area and workstations.
  • Monitor food quality and portion sizes throughout the shift.
  • Comply with all safety and hygiene regulations.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Less than 1 year of relevant culinary experience.

Supervisory Experience: None required.

License or Certification: Not required.
